As we gear up for the 2024 Caledon Fair, I’m excited to share more about our theme for this year – “There’s Still a Taste of Country.” This theme celebrates the agricultural roots and rural traditions that are at the core of the Caledon Fair experience.
When you attend the Fair, you’ll get a real taste of country life through our livestock exhibits, home craft competitions, and farm demonstrations. From seeing the award-winning animals in the barns to sampling preserves and baked goods made from locally grown ingredients, you’ll be immersed in the sights, smells, and flavors of country living.
Our “There’s Still a Taste of Country” theme extends to the Hall exhibits and competitions, providing a platform for our community members to showcase their talents. Whether you’re a seasoned exhibitor or new to the scene, there’s a category for you to share your own taste of country life.
Some ideas that fit the “There’s Still a Taste of Country” theme:
- Plants and Flowers
- Arts and Crafts
- Photography capturing life on the farm or the country landscape
The Hall exhibits are one of the highlights of the Fair, allowing visitors to appreciate our community members’ skills and hard work. Your entries embodying this year’s theme will make the experience more memorable for all our guests.
Don’t wait; start planning your entries now to ensure you don’t miss the deadline for this celebrated tradition. The Caledon Fair is a true taste of country that you won’t want to miss. I can’t wait to see your talents on display this year!
