One of the primary duties of an ambassador is to support the fair industry. They attend the OAAS annual convention, visit communities and promote their fair. In addition, they encourage others to visit the place they represent by bringing greetings and information about their local fair. The Ambassador will introduce delegates and dignitaries on stage. They will also announce winners and present ribbons to contest winners during the fair.
